The Collegiate Running Association (CRA) and the Loudoun Street Mile once again joined forces to bring the Collegiate Road Mile National Championship to Winchester, VA for an impressive fifth consecutive year.
From 2019 to 2023, the Loudoun Street Mile race has proudly hosted the highly anticipated Collegiate Road Mile National Championship, featuring dedicated prize money exclusively reserved for college students. This year's event continued the tradition by awarding a total of $5,100 in prize money, ensuring a competitive atmosphere for all participants.
The wave starts implemented during the race provided an excellent opportunity for runners of all backgrounds to achieve their personal bests and strive for individual success. Moreover, the simultaneous start of both the Collegiate Championship and Open Championship allowed college students to compete for both collegiate and open prize money, further enhancing the excitement and competitiveness of the event.
