8:00AM- Pole Green Park Run/Walk (4K)/USATF-VA Championships/RVA XC Festival
(This 8:00AM event will serve as the USATF-VA Championships and open run/walk)
9:05AM- National Anthem
9:15AM- College Men’s 6K
9:50AM- College Women’s 4K
The 2024 Pole Green Park Run/Walk / USATF-Virginia Championships will be held in conjunction with the Spider Alumni Open. The race distances will be 4K (Women and Men). The event will utilize the same 2K loop course used for the 2023 and 2024 USATF National Cross Country Championships. This 2K loop format will provide an excellent event for spectators.
EVENT DETAILS:
This event (Richmond XC Festival, formerly the Pole Green Park 5K) will serve as the USATF-Virginia Association Open, Masters, and Junior (U20) Championship and will be held concurrently with the Spider Alumni Open College Races.
Open runners and 2024 USATF-Virginia members will be split-out into separate results (Open Run/Walk and Richmond XC Festival results) and will not be part of the college races. Unattached runners, college club, open club and post collegiate runners will have their own results.

ELIGIBILITY: This family friendly event is open unattached runners of all ages.
REGISTRATION: Online Registration for this event will open on July 1, 2024 and close Wednesday, August 28 at 11:59AM
Anyone wanting to be considered for the USATF Virginia Awards MUST PREREGISTER HERE.
Race Day Registration is available between 7:00AM and 7:40AM for a fee of $25 (NOTE: USATF-Virginia Members must be preregistered online)
ABOUT THE COURSE:
Home of the 2023 and 2024 U.S. Cross Country Championships...2008 USATF Junior Olympic XC National Championships, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022 Atlantic 10 Championships, the RVA Relays and the MILESTAT.COM XC Invitational. The course is flat terrain consisting of grass and dirt trail. Every mile and 1K is clearly marked. The course is set-up to be spectator friendly.
ENTRY FEE: UNDER 18 years of age - $15.00/person
OVER 18 years of age - $25.00/person
Race Day- $30.00/Person
Due to the size of the event, there are NO team discounts.
